The 2006 World Series of Poker saw poker great Humberto Brenes sporting a new merchandise from BigFish Poker Products, a pair of shades specially designed for the serious poker player called River Rim Poker Shades.
President of BigFish Eric Burgrardt had the chance to chat with Brenes as the WSOP was starting and offered Brenes the shades, who wore it all throughout the main event.
The River Rim Poker Shades is a breakthrough innovation for poker players everywhere. The shades is designed in contrasting tones, with a darker shade on the upper two-thirds of its lens, while the bottom part is completely clear. This enables the players to completely hide their eyes from their opponents while playing, while at the same time offering maximum visibility of their hold cards and the poker table.
The brains behind the product is the husband and wife poker team Eric and Michele Burghardt. Michelle is a certified poker hypnotherapist, who helps poker players master the psychological aspect of the game.
"The product ideas we had are great," says Eric. "But they just didn't mesh with Michele's 'NoTilt'Poker Hypnosis System. We created a new division so we could continue to offer unique quality poker gear to players".
